Women’s participation in Dubai’s real estate market increased noticeably in 2022. In the emirate, a total of 26,698 female investors recorded 33,419 real estate deals worth more than Dh58.8 billion in the previous year, an increase of 50.7% in volume and 53% in value from 2021. In 2022, there were more women investors than there were in 2021, according to data from the Dubai Land Department (DLD).

With annual transactions establishing new records, Dubai’s real estate market finished another spectacular year and established itself as a significant contributor to the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. With 122,658 real estate sales in 2022, totaling Dh528 billion, the emirate’s annual real estate transactions for the first time exceeded the half-trillion dirham mark.

Women had more than just financial roles in the real estate industry. In addition, they made contributions to the industry as builders, brokers, and employees. According to DLD data, women made up 34.8% of registered real estate brokers. A total of 8,606 transactions totaling Dh696 million were facilitated by 4,519 female brokers. Women make up 42% of the Dubai Land Department’s workforce overall, and they are essential to fulfilling the mission of the organization at all levels and in all areas.
